Start with a soothing shampoo and a deep condition
treatment, to put dreadlocs in optimum condition.
2. While locs are damp, towel dry, and retwist the
new growth using a light gel or wax.
3. Start in the back and use a palm roll technique
to keep locs even throughout their length.
4. Use hair clips to clip locs in the direction
you would to see them fall. Set under hooded dryer
for 45 minutes to an hour to set locs.
5. Once dry, apply a light layer of scalp oil to
scalp and mist locs with a light shine spray. This
will keep locs moisturized and give a natural luster.

(about a quarter size) in your hands, and run
it through clean damp hair.

starting in the back, blow dry hair using paddle
brush to get hair as straight as possible.
4. Use a large curling iron to create loose curls
that will fall into soft waves.
